Managing citations

This page covers two ways to manage your citations in Scopus:

(1) Create a Formatted Citation: To copy and paste into a bibliography/reference list

(2) Export Citations: To add citation information into a citation management tool such as Zotero

Create a formatted citation

At the top of your search results page or on the record of an individual result, click More... to find the option to Create bibliography.

Choose your desired citation style from the drop-down menu to create a formatted citation.

Export citations

At the top of your search results page or on the record of an individual result, find the option to Export.

By default, all citation information will be exported. Choose RIS Format to export to a citation manager, such as Zotero. Add abstract and keywords to your export, or any additional information, as desired.
