Biology Graduate Students, Library Resources

Working on a research paper?

Take advantage of our Thesis Research 101 seminars (they're not just for thesis-option students!). This three-part series of one-hour seminars is offered every semester.

Seminar 1 is Researching the Literature, and offers tips on conducting a thorough search of the literature.

Seminar 2 is Maximizing Your Use of Citation Management Software, and introduces the time-saving elegance of freely-available citation management tools to organize your sources and generate a Literature Cited list in seconds.

Seminar 3 is Presenting Your Thesis, and provides information about preparing your thesis and making your research more easily findable on the web.

Session dates and times will be announced each semester on our Library News page.
