The Creative Reality Lab / Immersive Media Studio has equipment for both Virtual Reality and Image Production. The studio is located on the first floor of Booth Library right off of the FDIC and comes equipped with a green screen, lighting, a microphone, two computers, and eight MetaQuest 3 Headsets. With the equipment, you can make your own photos and videos or explore a museum in virtual space.

The room is free to use for faculty, staff, and students.
The lab has eight MetaQuest 3s that are set up with Google accounts and can be controlled using the MetaQuest App. These can be casted to the monitors in the CSI to display what the person wearing the headset is seeing.
We have two computers set up to utilize Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator to create new images and videos by removing the green screen. You can stage a person in front of the green screen, take a picture, and place them in front of a castle in Ireland. You can also create 3D images from 2D pictures by using Adobe Illustrator.
To learn how to make your own photos and videos with removable backgrounds, please consider attending our Learning Lab on Green Screen Image Production. Click on the following link to register: Green Screen Image and Video Production - LibCal - Eastern Illinois University Booth Library
