Support from the Writing Center
At the EIU Writing Center, we support undergraduate and graduate student writers from all majors at any stage of the writing process.
Book an appointment for a one-on-one writing consultation.
Choose whether you want to schedule a face-to-face or online appointment. Online sessions are held via Microsoft Teams, which is available to all Eastern students through your Panthermail / Office 365 account. Appointments can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance.
Face-to-Face Hours*
Mondays 9 am - 5 pm
Tuesdays 9 am - 3 pm
Wednesdays 9 am - 12 pm, 1 - 3 pm
Thursdays 9 am - 5 pm
Fridays 9 am - 3 pm
Online Hours (appointments via Microsoft Teams)
Sundays - Tuesdays 5 - 9 pm
Wednesdays 6 - 9 pm
