LibGuides: Show, Tell, Collaborate

Resources and tips for creating multi-use, health and medical LibGuides

The Health Sciences Librarians of Illinois (HSLI) and two experienced health sciences librarians invite you to attend a one-hour virtual discussion, “LibGuides: Show, Tell, Collaborate.” Debra and Stacey, a LibGuides “power user” and a systems librarian, present design concepts and tech tricks. Share their experiences creating engaging, targeted LibGuides for a wide range of audiences. Basic scripting projects are included. This companion guide will:

  • Demonstrate practical examples of LibGuides used in synchronous and asynchronous instruction;
  • Boost student engagement by incorporating  Bitmojis, videos, and embedded search tools;
  • Save time and increase efficiency by strategically maintaining reusable content; and
  • Harness the features of LibGuides to consolidate documents and streamline presentations for accreditation visits.
