Browsing for books
Books in Booth Library are shelved by call number. Browsing for books can help familiarize you with the collection. Books may be borrowed using your Panther Card.
To find books on African American Social Movements, go to the shelves in these call numbers and browse the titles for the following subject areas:
You may also browse books virtually at the title level. When you view the detailed record of a book, for example Classical Black Nationalism From the American Revolution to Marcus Garvey, the bottom of the page displays a 'virtual browse' slider which shows you the titles of the books to the left and right of the book you are viewing.
