A secondary source evaluates or otherwise interprets the primary literature. Secondary literature may include review articles, magazine articles, and textbooks, among other sources.
Search for books using the Booth Catalog (formerly the EIU Online Catalog). Note more options, including searching by author, available in the Advanced Search.
Once you find an item you like, click on its title. This will bring up the bibliographic record for the item, as in the image below. Use the location and call number to find the book in Booth Library.
Note the Subjects--These will link you to similar material in the Booth Catalog. The Description will provide more information about the book.
The menu option to Get It will link you to more detailed information about the item's location, including an option to Locate the item in the library on a map.
