Music: Piano Self Instruction: Popular Music

Lean to play, or rehearse and record in the library

piano imageInterested in learning to play piano? Booth Library has many materials to help you learn to play. If you know the basics, we have materials to help you learn several popular styles.

Two rehearsal rooms on the 4000 level are equipped with Yamaha Clavinova CLP 950M digital pianos with weighted keys. The pianos are attached to a computer to allow for multitrack digital recording.

See the staff at Library Technology Services on the 4th floor of the library to learn more. Contact Stacey Knight-Davis for technical support using the recording software.
