Clostridiodes/Clostridium difficile (C. diff)

As of 2019, the Centers for Disease Control began using Clostridioides difficile instead of Clostridium difficile to refer to the bacterium that commonly causes infectious diarrhea. When you are searching, keep in mind that material published before 2019 will use Clostridium difficile.
