Browsing for Books
Books in Booth Library are shelved by call number. Browsing for books can help familiarize you with the collection. Books may be borrowed using your Panther Card.
To find books for AFR2200G: Pan-Africanism, browse the shelves in these call numbers for the following subject areas:
- DT AfricaFor a more detailed breakdown of the DT subclass, see the Library of Congress Classification Outline for Class D, p. 32.
You may also browse books online at the title level. When you view the detailed record of a book, for example, The Encyclopedia of African History and Culture, the bottom of the page displays a 'virtual browse' slider which shows you the titles and covers of the books to the left and right on the shelf for the book you are viewing.
